Frank Sullivan spent eight years learning the business the hard way — carrying other people’s furniture up other people’s triple-decker staircases for a North Shore mover that isn’t around anymore. In 2011 he bought a truck of his own, brought two coworkers with him, and told them the same thing he still tells new hires: nobody gets handed to a rental crew, and nobody works here as a subcontractor.

Frank keeps the paperwork current every year, and Marie can email a certificate to a landlord or property manager same-day if one’s needed before your move.
Who’s actually showing up on move day — is it your own guys?
Every single person on the truck is a Frank Moving employee. No day-labor app, no last-minute rental crew, no subcontractor filling a gap. Tommy and Angela have both been running crews here for years, and the same people you talk to on the phone are the ones carrying your couch down three flights.
We only found out we’re moving about two weeks ago — is that too late?
Probably not. Weekends toward the end of the month book up first, but a weekday slot usually has room. Sean keeps weekday openings separate from the weekend rush specifically so short-notice calls have somewhere to land — call (888) 278-9005 and he’ll tell you what’s open right now.
What do you need to actually hold my date?
Just $100, applied against your total at the end rather than added to it. Swampscott or Albany, short hop or long haul, the same $100 reserves your crew and truck — Marie squares up whatever’s left once the job’s done.
How far from Lynn will you actually travel for a job?
Weekly regulars cover Saugus, Swampscott, Nahant, Salem, Peabody, Marblehead, Revere, Lynnfield, and Wakefield — basically all of Essex County plus the Suffolk and Middlesex towns right on our doorstep. Longer hauls run up into Rockingham County, New Hampshire and York County, Maine fairly often too, along with regular routes to Boston, Worcester, Providence, and beyond.

Usually — but tell Marie or Sean up front if it’s a narrow triple-decker block, a resident-permit street, or tight colonial-era lanes like Marblehead’s Old Town, and we’ll plan the truck size and parking around it instead of finding out with a box truck already double-parked.
