FAQ

Pricing, deposits, licensing, storage, and scheduling — the questions we hear most.

Marie is the one who actually opens this form on Broad Street — not an algorithm, not a broker's inbox, and it goes nowhere except into pricing your Lynn move.

Answers to the questions Lynn-area customers ask most before booking with Frank Moving. Don’t see yours? Call (888) 278-9005 and Marie or Sean will help directly.

How much does a move cost?
Local moves run hourly: $109 for two movers, $149 for three, $189 for four. Flat rates by home size run $399 for a studio, $799 for a one-bedroom, $1,395 for a two-bedroom, and $2,150 for a three-bedroom or larger.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, $100 holds your date once you book.
Is Frank Moving licensed and insured?
Yes — licensed and insured in Massachusetts, with authority on file for our interstate routes.
Do you offer storage?
Yes, short-term storage runs $140 a month.
How far do you travel?
We cover Lynn, the North Shore suburbs, and Greater Boston for local moves, plus long-distance routes as far as New York City and Burlington, VT. See our service areas and routes pages.
How far in advance should I book?
A few weeks’ notice is ideal, but we take last-minute and same-day requests when a crew is open — call (888) 278-9005 to check availability.
Do you subcontract or use day-labor?
Never. Every mover on the truck is a full-time Frank Moving employee.
Can you handle a triple-decker or a walk-up with no elevator?
Yes — Frank walks the building in person before quoting, so the crew size and price match the real stairs.
What Sets Us Apart

Why Households Stick With Frank Moving

Registered In Massachusetts, Filed For The Interstate Runs Too

Registered MA household-goods mover, with US DOT authority filed for anything crossing state lines — whether it’s a two-hour job across town or a long haul north toward Portland, the paperwork is settled before ever sees the truck back down the street.

Coverage Explained Up Front, Not Buried In Fine Print

Every job carries standard released-value coverage, and Sean walks you through the full-value upgrade at the estimate, not after the truck is already loaded — Frank set that rule in 2011 and nobody’s talked him out of it since.

Ten Employees Signing Off On Every Quote

Call on a weekday and Marie answers; call about a bigger job and Frank or Sean looks over the number personally. Every mover who shows up at your door is a trained Frank Moving employee, never a rental for the day.

We Know Which Streets Have No Parking

Resident-permit blocks, colonial-era lanes too narrow for a box truck, October traffic locking up Salem — Tommy’s been running these streets since 2013, so none of that gets discovered on move day.

One Call Gets You Frank Or Sean, Never A Call Center

Whatever comes in through this form goes to Sean first — he matches it against open slots and drafts the figure, and it doesn't leave the building until Frank's read it over. Same-day turnaround, most of the time.
